Roots blowers are used for
generating constant airflows which are not dependent on discharge pressure
conditions. These are applied to low and medium and vacuum processes and also
can be used for providing small to large airflow rates. A root blower is made
up of two rotors with having lobes rotating in an air tight casing. When the
rotator rotate, the air at atmospheric pressure is collected in the pockets
formed between rotor and casing. The rotary kind of motion of the lobes deliver
the entrapped air in the receiver.
